Not everyone knows this, but shipping goods across the globe is complex and can be a real hassle. A company has to have employees with specific experience, knowledge and the right contacts to be able to get their goods from A to B in time, in the right manner.
This successful scale-up (150+ fte) – a well funded spinoff of a well known shipping company (80.000+ fte) – is changing this. It is making shipping goods across the globe super easy for every one, especially aiming at businesses who have no knowledge or experience in doing so.
Currently our client is looking to hire a senior UX Designer.
As a senior UX Designer in this organisation you’ll be working in one of three teams (currently, it has a high growth rate) working on the platform. You’ll have task and deliverables in all phases of the double diamond: Research, Synthesis, Ideation and Implementation.
As a senior UX Designer at this shipping company you’re going to work in one of three teams who are working on different parts of the platform. This scale-up has roughly 150+ employees and is growing rapidly. The parent organisation has over 80.000 employees worldwide.
A unique opportunity to get working experience in a start-up / scale-up organisation without the risks this usually brings. This scale-up already is quite successful and it’s a well funded spinoff of an established shipping company.
This company is about continuous improvement. You’ll not only get time to do upfront research, but also to measure and monitor the success of the solutions you’ve designed once they’re implemented.
The world of shipping goods across the globe is a very complex one. You’ll have to bring all you got to the table to solve the puzzle and make it accessible and understandable for everyone.
- Experience doing qualitative research
- Experience designing responsive web applications
- Experience running experiments and A/B testing
- Experience with user testing
