It can take a lot of time, even with a recruiter, because they cannot technically assess UX/Product designers and their work.

I often found UX recruitment disappointing. Effort was not the issue, but the gap in expertise unfortunately was.

My background

I was a UX and product designer for 20 years

As a designer and design lead, I worked for over 50 organisations, including Schiphol, Philips, Adidas and Rabobank.

I developed a service that combines recruitment with professional assessment of UX designers (conducted by me).

I handle the recruitment and 95% of the technical assessment. You spend a total of about 5 hours on the intake, interviews with the top candidates, and the contract.

Lowest hourly rates

Recruiters and digital agencies work with a limited pool of designers. Some are on the bench, those are the ones they offer you. Nice and quick. But why are they on the bench?

They also have significant overhead costs. I don't, which is why I can offer you lower rates.
